The Customer Service Enquiry function is accessible from the ?Customer Service? menu group and is used to allow a user to enquire upon the status of a request that they have previously submitted (lodged) for processing.

Currently only Requests that were initially submitted via the web will be listed here.

To run the enquiry some basic search criteria must be nominated, followed by selecting the <Search> button to process the enquiry.

Public Users Search Criteria

For Public Users, the available search options are as follows;

Your own Customer Service requests : This will return all ?public? requests that are still on council records based on the following criteria. Email Address and optionally Request Id (+ Password if applicable) are used to identify the specific requests.
Public Requests by Type : (discussed later).

Registered Users Only

For Registered Users, the available search options are as follows;

All Customer Service requests : This will return all requests for this registered user that are still on council records.
Request Id : The interim Id generated when the request was submitted from the web (eg 265).
Request Number : The request number assigned by council ? once the request has been received (eg 2301)
Request Date : From / To date range based on the date the request was lodged with council (usually the same date it was submitted from the web).
Public Requests by Type : (discussed later).

Public Requests by Type

In addition to the above search criteria, this search option is available for all users, and will return all requests as follows that are still on council records;

All ?unsecured? requests lodged by public users (ie those with no password).
All ?non confidential? requests lodged by registered users (ie those not marked ?Confidential?).

Results

Once the enquiry has been run, this page lists the results and details the following information for each request returned;

Request Id : The interim Id generated when the request was submitted.
Request Number : The request number assigned by council.
Request Type : A description of the request type.
Request Date : The date the request was lodged (usually the same date it was submitted).
Status : The current status of the request ? based on where council are currently at processing it.
Request Details : Select the ?Show Details? link to see the details (eg Questionnaire etc) of the request.
Issue Date : The date (if any) that council issued the certificate/s on the request.
